- This works fine :) but, if you have the registered version on AmiWin and
- find that you use a remote program very often, you can use the GoodStuff
- program - which is like ToolManager - to quickly start remote programs.
-
- To do this, you need to edit the x11:lib/x11/fvwm/system.fvwmrc file - I
- advise you make a backup copy before editing it. Down in the GoodStuff
- area, add this line
-
- *GoodStuff NetScape xmosaic.xpm Exec "" run rsh yourhost
- "exec NetScape -display $HOSTDISPLAY </dedv/null >&/dev/null &"
-
- Note: this should all be on one line! Also, replace "yourhost" with the
- name of your real host. And you need the "rsh" program, which is part of
- the standard AmiTCP dist. Oh, and one last thing: you need to create a
- ".rhosts" file in your $HOME directory to allow access.
-
- This will add a button to the GoodStuff module (using the xmosaic icon)
- that will run Netscape :)
